Select working papers for a Ursus americanus (black bear) skull composite. I began with a proportional diagram of the skull, with the aid of a skull specimen. Using the skull sketch as a base, I then created a muscular layer and a fleshed layer overtop on tracing paper. Finally all three layers were combined into a single version, carefully depicting all anatomical layers. The final rendering can be viewed in my portfolio section (Click Here).
